Just Add Ink #789...Sketch!

It’s time for a brand‑new Challenge. It’s a sketch challenge suggested by Tristan.

There’s something special about a sketch challenge. It gives you structure, but still leaves plenty of room for personality, flair, and those clever design twists that make your project unmistakably you. Tristan’s sketch is clean, versatile, and wide‑open for interpretation — whether you lean toward bold colour blocking, soft layers, or a sentiment that steals the spotlight.

This week, we invite you to take the sketch and make it your own. Flip it, rotate it, stretch it, or keep it beautifully literal. As long as the bones of the sketch are visible, the creative direction is entirely in your hands.

We can’t wait to see how you bring this sketch to life. Share your style, surprise yourself, and inspire the rest of the JAI community.

Please limit your entries to 3 per challenge.

• Create a card, layout or 3D project using our challenge as inspiration.
• Link your post, NOT your whole blog back here.
• Your project must be new, created for this challenge and combined with no more than 5 other challenges.
• Please mention JUST ADD INK in your blog post and provide a link so others can come and join in the fun too.
• Inspiration & Colour Challenges: Use the Inspiration or the colours or both. Please use a minimum of "3" of the challenge colours when creating your project. (Black-White-Metallics-Skintones may also be added)
• Just use Stencils-Dies Challenges: Use Stencils-Dies or a combination of both. No theme, anything goes.
• Choose Two or more Challenges: Please comment in your post which of the elements you chose.
• Please DO NOT use your challenge entry as self promotion. We are here to have fun and encourage creativity.
• We reserve the right to remove links that do not comply with the above guidelines.
• Please note, if you have privacy settings on your socials, you are still welcome to play, but you may get limited comments from the design team.
