Just Add Ink #519...Colour!

Hi and welcome to the new Just Add Ink Challenge.

This week we have a beautiful colour challenge for you, that has been suggested by Jo.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what you all come up with for this challenge.

Here is what the Design Team have come up with this week to provide you with inspiration...

JUST ADD INK RULES

Create a card, layout or 3D project using our challenge as inspiration.
Link your post, NOT your whole blog back here.
Your project must be new, created for this challenge and combined with no more than 5 other challenges.
Please mention JUST ADD INK in your blog post and provide a link so others can come and join in the fun too.
Colour Challenges: Please use "ONLY" the challenge colours or as close as possible when creating your project. (Black-White-Vanilla & Metallics may also be added)
Alphabet Challenges: Please comment in your post exactly what your "Alphabet" element is.
Choose Two Challenges: Please comment in your post which of the "Two" elements you chose.
Please DO NOT use your challenge entry as self promotion. We are here to have fun and encourage creativity.
We reserve the right to remove links that do not comply with the above guidelines.

Before our next challenge Id like to announce some news... Mae and I are stepping down as coordinators of Just Add Ink.

Mae and I have been a team for a couple of years and Ive done 3 years so while we wont be going anywhere ..(the Just Add Ink Team girls are like family!), we both needed to step down from running it. (for both of us its just a too much on our plate thing)

My sincere thanks goes to Bronwyn Eastley, Mae Collins, Jo Eades and Nikki Spencer for helping us run this team over the past 3 years.

So going forward we have four team members who are running the challenge team.

They are Chantell Randall (who has been on the team the longest like I have), Kim Badelt. Trish Rayfield and you already know Nikki Spencer who has already been helping with the challenge winners posts. Thanks so much to all of you for stepping up and helping this challenge team continue and grow! All four have some wonderful qualities that will help and grow this challenge site..Im excited!
So off I go to post the next challenge ..

Announcing and welcome!

Today we are announcing two of our newest members to the Design Team...

So watch out for their first DT project, expect in early July, as they familiarise themselves over the next couple of weeks with our existing DT members, challenges and processes.

We would also like to welcome back a previous DT member, friend and talented brayer and/or sponge technique person...

JAI Design Team Search

Are you a keen follower of our challenge blog? Have you a desire to join our Design Team? Then read on...

We are looking to add to our Just Add Ink Design Team!
We have 2 positions available and you can find out more about it below.

Just Add Ink Design Team Submission Guidelines 2013:

All Design Team projects must be new and not previously published or shown online.
Project submissions should include one card using your usual style and one OTP/3D (off-the-page).
You must include with your submission a short blurb about yourself and why you would like to join the team.
Send your submissions to: just-add-ink@hotmail.com. Please put "JAI DT Submission" in your subject line and resize your photos to 600x600 or less. All photos should be labelled with your name.
Deadline for submissions is Friday, 31 May 2013 at 10.00 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time.
Australian/New Zealand applicants ONLY at this time as we want to keep the "downunder" feel to our challenge site.
While most of us are SU demonstrators, this is not a requirement...however, a lover of SU products is strongly encouraged.
You can be on other Design Teams but all JAI posts must only be linked to Just Add Ink, i.e. no other promotion to other DTs/stores etc. This includes any Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. No self-promotion is required from all of our Design Team members on JAI projects. We just want this to be a challenge blog without any links to any business.
Our Design Team members are required to have a blog/website and be able to comment on challenge submissions.
Design Team members will be required to submit one design each fortnight. You can submit more often but this is the basic requirement.

Anyone attending the upcoming Stampin' Up! Convention in Brisbane, and wanting to meet some of us face-to-face, please come up and introduce yourself as quite a few of us will be attending...just look out for the fun-loving noisy group! Although that may be hard amongst almost 700 excited SU! demonstrators!

JAI#118 - Just Add...Me, May, no Mae

Well this week's challenge post is a bit embarrassing and hard to write as it involves myself and it is my turn to prepare the post. For those who regularly join in our challenges you would know that we often find inspiration amongst ourselves and so have at times set the challenge to CASE one of the JAI Design Team and Delys decided that since it was the month of May, that the team should CASE "Mae", that being me!

Therefore, to officially announce this week's challenge....

"Just Add....Mae Collins"

So head on over to my blog and hopefully you will find something that inspires you there, so that you can join in with this week's challenge, and upload your card/project below.
