Good Afternoon Stampers

Hope you're all well this week.  I am a bit late posting today as I have just come back from the Osteopath, getting my pelvis and sacroilliac put back where it should be.  How did I come by this very painful injury you may be wondering.  By being convinced by my son to compete in the 'Mum's Race' at our school twilight sports last night.  I may be fit, but a runner I am not.  On the bright side, I did receive a 'I tried my best' sticker, lol!

Well, onto the matter at hand.  This week we had a lot of very beautiful entries into our Just Add Nikki challenge.  And boy, did we have a hard time chosing our winner- our opinions were almost equally divided, but in a countback our winner for this week is this lovely entry by Jo

JAI #3 Altered art!

This month we have a challenge for all of those 3D/OTP (off the page)  scrapbookers out there ..

just add altered art...

Altered art is taking something from everyday life or just plain and unembellished items and turning them into art

 (in this case scrapbooking art)

We want to see something that doesnt go into a normal scrapbooking album so ..3D altered book or cube or wall art/ mini album/wall hangings that evolves from everyday items ..Think toilet rolls(seen those yet?)/canvases/ fabric/felt/wooden blocks  or pieces you name it .and go for it!..just not normal cardstock mini albums/star books etc.

Just a quick mention about commenting. A lot of us (especially wordpress/typepad bloggers) are having trouble with commenting on challenge entries through Blogger blogs at the moment. It's very frustrating to constantly try and try again to comment then finally be hit with the word verification that some blogs have on their blog settings (which is really hard to read LOL). We recommend you please turn this off and turn on comment moderation instead! This can be done under your 'Settings' tab, and the under the 'Comments' link and near the bottom where it asks you to select for 'Comment Moderation' - we suggest you select 'Always' and for 'Show word verification notification for comments?' - we suggest you select 'No'. Safety from spam comments and no frustrations from potential commenters! Please be aware that some Blogger blog settings have automatically been turned to word verfication so please check your settings...TA!

Today is an exciting day - it's Autumn/Winter Mini PreOrder day for all of us Stampin' Up! demos.  Let me tell you, there are a LOT of fantastic goodies heading our way come April 1st.  I can't wait for my very small order to arrive!

JAI 106 - Sketch Challenge!

Hi Inkers!

This week we have a great sketch challenge for you to use as inspiration in your stamping or craft projects. Here it is...

Hopefully by the time this post goes live on Friday morning I have found my MOJO and put in my card as well as the other Design Team members who have contributed this week and provided inspiration for you. I have been distracted with helping my husband who is on holidays and also finding time to renovate a room for me to have as a dedicated crafting area...so not much crafting happening at my place, just lots of demolishing of walls, repairing walls and ceilings...in readiness for painting and laying interlocking floorboards!
